I am committed to ensuring that Kensington has the best state and private schools in the country and I believe that choice is important to all parents. 

As well as supporting our state schools through record Government funding of at least £6,050 per pupil, I am campaigning strongly against Keir Starmer’s plans to charge Independent schools VAT. Hardworking parents should not be taxed twice for the right to choose how they educate their children.

Developer Withdraws Pelham Street Traffic Management Plan

After pressure from local residents, RBKC and me, the Pelham Street developers have withdrawn their CTMP and proposed a series of amendments. I will continue to call on the developers to keep Pelham Street two-way 24/7 during the construction phase.

South Kensington appeal decision in favour of developers

On Tuesday December 12th, we heard the very disappointing news that the TfL/Native land appeal to build on and around South Kensington station has been mostly won by the developer (i.e. the development can largely proceed).
