Gillian Keegan joins Felicity Buchan at Cardinal Vaughan Secondary School

It was lovely to host Gillian Keegan, our excellent Secretary of State for Education, at Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School in Kensington, one of the best faith schools in the UK.

A whopping 95% of local state schools in Kensington are rated good or outstanding, up from 84% in 2010!

Meanwhile, Labour have opposed our plans to acadamise the school system and our focus on improving standards.

And now, they want to put a 20% tax on independent schools punishing parents for choosing where to send their children and putting more pressure on the state system. In fact, independent research shows this policy could cost the Treasury up to £1.6bn.
