Notting Hill deserves a properly resourced policing operation in order to protect people and make our community safer.
The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, closed Notting Hill Police Station to the public 6 years ago and he still hasn't made his mind up on whether to sell it.
Government has brought in a new law which allows Sadiq Khan to take community social value into account when selling disused police stations. That means he doesn't have to sell it to the highest bidder which could make it easier for Kensington and Chelsea Council to buy it.
Locally, we’ve made our position clear. If Sadiq Khan tries to sell it, then Kensington & Chelsea Conservative Council will bid for it – keeping it for community and police use.

We, the undersigned, call on the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, to save Notting Hill Police Station and to maintain a permanent police presence in Notting Hill.
