It's great news to see the Police Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) has come into force in Earl's Court for at least three years.
A PSPO gives the police more powers to deal with specific types of anti-social behaviour.
This pilot will lower the threshold for action on drug-taking, littering, aggressive begging, bicycles/scooters on pavements and loitering.
I would like to thank all of the residents who submitted statements during the consultation process. These were used as critical evidence to support the order.
If this pilot is successful, we will consider rolling it out across other areas of the borough.
