My Meeting with Dina Maktabi - 'Kensington Mums'

This afternoon I met with Dina Maktabi, Founder and Editor of Kensington Mums.

Dina created the platform after experiencing isolation following the birth of her children. 

Since then Kensington Mums has expanded to reach thousands of mothers and caregivers in Kensington - a truly commendable feat.

We discussed issues such as crime, online safety and healthcare - along with cost-of-living matters and mental health.

I look forward to working with Dina and 'Kensington Mums' in the near future, engaging with mothers on the issues that matter to them.

Whether it be an expansion in our childcare provision, or our strategy to tackle violence against women and girls (VAWG), this Government remains steadfast in its commitment to protect, empower and uplift women.
