I visited the Ukrainian Welcome Centre today at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Holy Family in Exile.
It was a privilege returning to the Church, this time touring the Ukrainian Welcome Centre facility.
As the people of Ukraine marked Independence Day last week, they also notably marked 18 months of conflict following Russia's illegal invasion. I commend the strength and resilience of all Ukrainians in the face of Russian aggression.
The Welcome Centre provides advice and support to those arriving from Ukraine. I was delighted to hear how Government's proactive humanitarian efforts have benefitted the community.
The Welcome Centres runs an engagement session every second Thursday, and you can find out more about the Centre's work here.
I reassured the volunteers and staff that the Government, the people of the United Kingdom - notably our Kensington community - will stand in support of Ukraine long into the future.
