Felicity Buchan MP recently hosted a business champions reception in Parliament. This event aimed to support local businesses and brought together entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and policymakers, fostering connections and promoting a thriving business ecosystem.
Felicity reflected on the event below:
I was delighted to host a Kensington Business Champions Reception in UK Parliament last night. It was a chance for local entrepreneurs and business figures to network, and to feed back any policy queries/suggestions to me and my team.
It was great to see the likes of Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Innocent Drinks, Natural History Museum, the Playground Theatre, C. Lidgate, Santi, Josh Wood Colour, Mollie Rose Bakery, Ruuby, FLOWERBX, Caroline Castigliano, Samantha Cusick London and Mozafarian Jewellers represented in the room.
The Business Minister, Kevin Hollinrake MP, kindly spoke and took questions from attendees. As the Member of Parliament for Kensington, I am acutely aware of the vital role that enterprise plays in our community. Our local businesses are the backbone of our economy, providing employment opportunities, driving innovation, and contributing to the unique character of our vibrant constituency. I believe in fostering an environment that supports and encourages entrepreneurship, ensuring that our local businesses have the resources and support they need to thrive. Together, we can continue to build a prosperous and inclusive Kensington that benefits all residents and businesses alike.
