Felicity Buchan joined the Health Secretary this week to mark 75 years of the National Health Service. Commenting on the anniversary, Felicity noted:
It was great to celebrate the NHS' 75th year at 10 Downing Street. I invited Dr Razak of Golborne Medical Centre in North Kensington to join me at the event.
Dr Razak and her team have done good work increasing access to healthcare with their street stalls and awareness initiatives in the local area.
On this anniversary, I welcome news that last year more than one million people had a face-to-face NHS Health Check – that's more than double the previous year.
These checks will help us deliver on our priority to cut waiting lists and save lives.
