Felicity Buchan, the MP for Kensington, has welcomed the Alzheimer's Society to Westminster as part of Dementia Action Week.
Through the Alzheimer's Society's Dementia Friends programme, their biggest ever initiative to change people’s perceptions of dementia, Felicity's team has been trained on the signs, symptoms and realities of those who live with dementia, and enhanced their understanding of how to deal with various scenarios.
Felicity said:
"The Dementia Friends workshop is adaptable to schools, workplaces and community groups. I encourage everyone to take part where possible. Together, let's make Kensington a Dementia Friendly constituency."
