Felicity had the pleasure of joining the Mayor, Councillor Preety Hudd, along with members of the military to mark Armed Forces Day 2023.
Felicity joined the group for the raising of the flag, which will fly proudly above Kensington.
In her comments to those gathered at the Town Hall, Felicity stated:
I would like to give my personal thanks to the armed forces. As Minister for Housing and Homelessness, a lot of my focus is on supporting veterans, and making sure they do not fall into homelessness. Further, I pass on the thanks of the Ukrainian community - in Kensington we have the embassy, the school and the social club - I know that the people of Ukraine feel indebted to our armed forces. I want to pay tribute to the forces, this is your day - you deserve the recognition.
