Further Progress on St Mary's

I met with Lord Markham (New Hospitals Programme), Nickie Aiken MP (Two Cities), Tim Orchard (CEO, Imperial Health Trust) and Matthew Tulley (Redevelopment Director at Imperial Health Trust) this week to discuss ongoing plans for the redevelopment of St Mary's Hospital.

The redevelopment of St Mary's Hospital is a priority for me, as part of my #HealthFirstKensington pledge, to put health at the heart of everything we do in Kensington. 

I was delighted to hear that since our previous meeting in June, the team have honed their proposals. 

Government remains committed to the redevelopment, and the New Hospitals Programme (NHP) team continue to work closely with the Trust to consolidate the business case before it reaches HM Treasury.

I will continue to hold regular meetings with the NHP and relevant stakeholders in the coming months.
