Dr Caterina Brandmayr is a policy-oriented researcher at the Grantham Institute for Climate Change & Environment at Imperial College London. She works to bridge the gap between academic research and decision-makers, businesses, NGOs, and other stakeholders. Caterina engages with various organizations and develops briefing papers, events, and customized engagements to ensure the Institute's work has a meaningful impact.
Elise Foster Vander Elst is the Head of Exhibitions and Environmental Impact Lead at The Design Museum. In her role, she oversees the delivery team for exhibitions and displays, collaborating with the Curatorial department to develop and produce multiple projects annually. Elise works closely with designers and contractors to transform galleries and ship objects worldwide. Recently, she has been focused on reducing the carbon footprint of their activities and spearheading a shift in their approach to developing temporary exhibitions to minimize Scope 3 emissions. Additionally, Elise promotes a more sustainable mindset within the cultural sector and advocates for change across UK museums.
John Flesher serves as the Deputy Director of the Conservative Environment Network (CEN). After working in Parliament, including as a Policy Adviser to Zac Goldsmith, John joined CEN in 2020. He established CEN's international program, collaborating with center-right political parties and organizations globally. Currently, he coordinates the organization's work across UK and international programs.
Pat Allerton, the Vicar of St Peter's Notting Hill, embarked on a different path after a spiritual awakening at 18. Previously aspiring to be a fighter pilot or surgeon, Pat became a vicar in 2010. He now ministers at St Peter's Church, supporting individuals in exploring life's profound questions. During lockdown, Pat gained recognition as the 'Portable Priest' for delivering hymns and prayers through speakers on his cargo bike, bringing hope to the streets of London.
Philip Mansbridge, as the Director of Programs at the Conservative Animal Welfare Foundation, is a prominent advocate for animal welfare. With extensive experience in senior leadership charity roles, Philip focuses on animals, conservation, and planet-friendly food. He has led organizations such as the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW UK), Care for the Wild International, and ProVeg UK, collaborating with various animal charities. Philip's expertise allows him to work with stakeholders from different perspectives to find pragmatic solutions to the challenges faced by animals.
