Today I visited Downing Street, attending a reception at Number 10 in honour of our veteran community.
I was delighted to be joined by Nicholas Halbritter, Chair of the Kensington and Chelsea branch of the Royal British legion.
I am proud of the courage and dedication of our Armed Forces and for the vast majority their experience of serving is positive. That is why I welcome the significant progress that has been made in delivering the Veterans' Strategy Action Plan, which aims to make Britain the best place in the world to be a veteran by 2028.
