This afternoon I visited Minds United FC in Earl's Court, a fantastic football provision for local residents.
The organisation was founded to improve the wellbeing, employability and confidence of those living with mental health conditions. There is also provision for those who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).
I enjoyed meeting some of the women who won a tournament in Holland, and hearing first hand how their lives have been changed by Minds United FC.
I was also pleased to hear about the recognition the club has received, with brands such as UnderArmour and Starling Bank collaborating with the CIC - Community Interest Company.
I will continue to support the Council's active engagement with Minds United FC, and I thank the group for taking time to indulge me in a spot of table tennis!
