Dear Resident,
This week I have been joined in Parliament by 18 exceptional young people.
The students came from across Kensington, with schools such as St Charles' Sixth Form College and St Mary's Ukrainian School represented.
The purpose of these 'Parliamentary Insight Days' has been to inspire the next generation of civil, political and social leaders.
I was delighted that ITV decided to cover the event, giving the young residents an opportunity to gain key media skills, and most importantly to share their unique stories and perspectives.
In my maiden speech to Parliament I promised to deliver opportunities, particularly for our young residents - this is just one way in which I am fulfilling that pledge.
The students took part in workshops, hosted by my team, other Parliamentary colleagues, and groups such as CEN.
The week culminated in a visit to Downing Street, which proved very popular with our young guests!
