Gardening with a Disability

It was great to join local residents and Cllr Johnny Thalassites at North Kensington Library for a disability gardening event.

The event was hosted by the fantastic team at Growing Space CIC, with support from Microsoft and Change X. We were given herbs and fruits to plant, along with succulents and other indoor-friendly options.

There were also delegates from Action Disability Kensington and Chelsea (ADKC) in attendance, and it was great to talk more broadly about furthering accessibility in the borough.

I believe strongly in the benefits of gardening, for our physical and mental health, along with our environment.
