Felicity caught up with Action Disability Kensington and Chelsea (ADKC) this afternoon.
Felicity discussed ongoing repairs to the site, which are set to be completed in due course.
Felicity also learned about the organisation's virtual offering which has flourished during the repairs. She noted:
I am delighted to see ADKC leading the way locally in keeping those with disabilities connected and supported.
The group's online provision has gone a long way in tackling digital exclusion. Whilst remote access presents challenges, I enjoyed hearing about the opportunities presented by technology, particularly for those who are unable to leave their homes.
I also was pleased to hear about developments taking place in both the legal advice and counselling spaces.
I look forward to visiting ADKC, accepting Jamie's invite to celebrate the reopening of the physical ADKC space.
Thank you to Jamie and the whole team at ADKC for all you do.
